Update 10/23/08: Looks like they added more cash shop clothing but what's the good in that? Especially when fairy(maybe a little) and gong fu(???) hardly have anything to do with Halloween. Maybe it's time I drive down (20 mins drive lol) to their headquarters and slap some senses in to the people in charge >.> In addition to the new Halloween Event, two new outfits are being added to the cash shop, the Gongfu Set, and the Fairy Set. The pieces of these sets are as follows:

All Hallows Eve draws near, and in order to celebrate this holiday, we’ll be having a two week Halloween Event!
Jolly Old Jones can be found at any of the starting areas in-game: Battlemark Village, The Northern Pass, or Inn of the Eagle. 
Jolly Old Jones will be giving out free temporary Halloween Costumes to everyone, as well as the chance to get a new exclusive in-game mount, Midnight. Jolly Old Jones will be giving away tickets with random prizes inside. You can either purchase a ticket from him for 100,000 coins, or give him one Guardian Angel doll in exchange for a ticket. The prizes are as follows.
Now this event sounds nice and all, if you have a lot of coins to spare! Guardian angels are cash shop items going for 30 silver or 2 gold 90 silver for 10. At our current coin to gold rate (around 100k for 1 gold), it's much cheaper to buy the Guardian Angels. However at the time of posting this all the gold on Heavens Tear's Auctioneer has sold out... >.> Good luck to anyone trying to land one of the Midnights! Update: saw 7 gold went up for sale at 125k per... hopefully this isn't the start of gold price inflation!!! |
